Everyone defines innovation differently, and there is rarely a single measureof success. Similarly, there are few “universal truths” when it comes to planning and delivering game changing innovation – with one exception (in our opinion).
The one universal truth is that a business seeking to innovate is only as strong as the weakest link in their innovation chain… from the different components of building a winning strategy, sourcing for disruptive venture partners, staffing with the right talent, and ensuring the corporation isoperationally ready and able to welcome young businesses as innovation partners… all are required, but rarely does any single business score highly for the full mix.
We believe the answer to winning in innovation lies in collaboration– a unique new openness amongst communities of non-competing businesses, suppliers and leaders. This keeps the likelihood of success high, costs low and the pace of change fast.
